Education Systems Management is seeking a temporary Principal Support and Engagement officer who will coordinate and report on the end-to-end delivery of ICT solutions for enhancements to core school, student and learning management systems.
As a Principal Support and Engagement Officer in the Enterprise Application and Enhancements team you will be required to apply your exceptional communication and leadership skills to lead the efforts of a team of business analysts and subject matter experts across ideation and business as usual enhancements to OneSchool and related applications. This position will require you to work closely with stakeholders across the department to investigate and triage emerging issues in business practice whilst maintaining a high standard of governance and risk management.

The Education Systems Management teams manage enterprise education applications used by state schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating services in the end-to-end delivery of ICT solutions to core school, student and learning management systems.
About the Role:As the Principal Support and Engagement Officer you will:
Work collaboratively and flexibly within the Enterprise Application and Enhancements team to support a diverse range of change management and operational activitiesLead the team in progressing strategic priorities, building and maintaining strong engagement with the team's many stakeholdersEmploy strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and well-developed communication skills to ensure quality products (documentation/resources) and outcomes.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support secretariat duties for multiple governance working parties that triage and prioritise all items in the OneSchool Program of workLead the ideation process for requested changes to OneSchool and related applicationsProvide high level subject matter expertise of business processes and apply knowledge to negotiate and manage deliverables.Prepare reports, correspondence and submissions about items in the program of work to key stakeholders and clientsEffectively acquire, maintain and apply knowledge of relevant government processes, and review operational documentation to support the priorities and functions of the unit.Contribute to continuous improvement agendas, including the review, development and deployment of supportive processes and procedures.Quality Assure end to end processes for the DirectorateAbout You:Highly desirable skills and experience:
Experience facilitating Investment Logic Mapping workshopsThorough understanding of Prince2 Agile project management methodologyExperience working with Microsoft Azure DevOpsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and capacity to learn quickly and respond with agility.Well-developed oral and written communication skills.Initiative and self-motivation, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.Background in implementing and quality assuring new and existing processesPlease refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
