The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated Principal Structural Engineer to join our team in Hobart. You will contribute to a variety of major infrastructure projects, as well as industrial and commercial developments, whilst providing technical guidance in a range of different structural materials for the junior members in the team. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Become a technical focal point and provide technical guidance for the structural team in HobartApply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutionsLiaise with clients, design technicians, and other team members to deliver practical solutionsManage clients, prepare fee proposals, and tender documentationProvide technical guidance to junior members of the teamWhat you bring: Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural designIn-depth experience in structural engineering design and already obtained Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalentBachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higherStrong analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentalityWillingness to contribute to technical guidance of junior members through mentoring and checking of technical documentationExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and clientsWhy join us: We're a friendly bunch who are passionate about our work.
