Principal Strategy and Performance Officer Queensland Police Service (Organisation site ) Finance Division; Strategy and Corporate Services; Brisbane As Principal Strategy and Performance Officer, you will lead a small team to develop, execute, evaluate and continuously improve strategies, plans and performance on behalf of the Executive Director, Finance Division.The team is responsible for supporting effective strategic governance, risk management, business continuity, operational planning, research, executive and business support for the Executive Director (CFO), Directors, and wider Finance Division Staff.You will be part of the ongoing success of our Finance team by providing a range of high quality corporate, planning, performance and support services for the Finance Division.The core capability requirements for this role are:Provide high quality advice and research to support effective operational planning, performance monitoring and strategic governance for the Division.Prepare and review reports, briefs and correspondence for the Executive Director.Review and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate actions and innovative solutions for implementation.Oversee the functions of the Strategy and Performance Office including workflow and priorities to support the work unit, Directors and the Executive Director.Build and sustain partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders.Lead and manage the human and physical resources of the Division in consultation with work unit Directors.Create a work environment that encourages teamwork whilst empowering individuals to strive for continuous business improvement, seek challenges, develop skills, and achieve results.
