About the Job Reporting to the Director, Planning & Development, this role is offered on a full time, fixed term basis to fill a parental leave vacancy.
You will be rewarded with a salary range of between $120,000 to $140,000 + employer super up to 15% + a nine-day fortnight + no debit – no credit personal leave + ability to negotiate flexible work arrangements in line with Council's Enterprise Agreement.
About you We are looking for someone who brings:
Tertiary qualifications in town planning.Demonstrated statutory and strategic planning expertise (minimum 5 years).Demonstrated capacity to perform in a leadership role to promote a team focused, collaborative work ethic, providing mentorship and guidance to other team members.Proven knowledge of, and demonstrated skills in interpreting and applying legislation, policy and technical information relevant to land use planning.Demonstrated problem solving to resolve complex planning issues.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsEssential to hold a current driver licence.Want to take the next step in your Planning career?
