To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Principal Strategic Engagement and Partnerships to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to the Community Manager and based in Dalby, the purpose of the role is to develop and deliver effective stakeholder engagement strategies to build trusted relationships with Arrow's Indigenous, social investment and community partners.
In addition, you will: Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.
Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
Design, plan and lead community engagement opportunities to support Arrow's strategic priorities and social licence.
Work collaboratively across the department and broader business to identify issues and opportunities to improve stakeholder relationships, and to lead face to face internal and external engagements.
Work collaboratively with a range of Arrow's departments to identify and manage emerging issues, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk.
Represent Arrow at regional functions and events, and speak on Arrow's behalf about its projects and plans.
Provide strategic engagement advice into project teams.
About You You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: A graduate degree in a relevant discipline and/or IAP2 accreditation.
Experience in delivering effective stakeholder strategies and managing complex external environments to effectively minimise risk.
An established stakeholder network in the Western Downs region.
The ability to travel approximately within Arrow's operational footprint as required (approximately 1-2 times per month) to meet the role requirements.
