Key responsibilitiesAs the Principal Statistical Officer, you will specifically: Lead the processing, extraction, analysis, and presentation of internal and external organisational data, including Total Vet Activity and student outcome data.Lead the curation and analysis of administrative data for the purposes of bespoke research projects supporting the Skills Strategy.Coordinate the activities of team members undertaking the processing, extraction, analysis and reporting of vocational education and labour market data.Provide high-level strategic advice to senior management, other work units and stakeholders on matters related to the Queensland labour market, future employment projections and the government funded and fee for service vocational education training market.Responsible for prioritising business requirements in conjunction with the leadership team of Data and Analytics.Draft briefing notes, Ministerial and executive management correspondence on a range of complex and sensitive issues.Support the broader strategic direction of the Data and Analytics team.
