YOUR ROLE As a Principal, you will lead a joy-filled community where students, staff, and families can flourish within a Catholic context.
Your leadership will enable the vision of the school to be realized, creating an environment where everyone can reach their full potential.
This role works in collaboration with MACS, staff members, local Parish Priest, and the broader School community to achieve the identified goals of the School.

St. Mary's Hampton Parish is part of the parish of the Holy Spirit and St Francis Sandringham, which is part of the Bayside Brighton Deanery.
St Mary's School is a co-educational Catholic primary school located in the Bayside suburb of Hampton, catering for students from Prep (Foundation Year) to Year Six, with a population of 214 students.
The school was originally established in 1924 under the guidance of the Presentation Sisters.
As a learning community, St Mary's strives for excellence and continual improvement.
St. Mary's provides a holistic curriculum, engaging students through the arts, physical activity, and digital and design technologies to foster deep learning and creativity, with a targeted teaching program that ensures each child is supported and challenged as an individual learner.

MACS is looking for a Principal who will actively engage with the community and grow school enrolments under their leadership.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Evidence of strong senior faith leadership as an active member in good standing of the Catholic Church community.
Demonstrated ability in instructional leadership, including implementing evidence-based learning and teaching programs.
Commitment to fostering a workplace that prioritizes the safety and wellbeing of all, including all MACS employees and students.
Strong commitment to enrollment growth, financial stability, and effective resource management.
Understanding and enactment of legislative and systemic compliance requirements applicable to all Catholic schools.
Attributes of justice and compassion in setting high standards for self and others in the leadership of pastoral care and education.
Strong coaching and leadership skills to enable team growth and development.
