The purpose of the position is to assist the Recorder of Titles by interpreting and applying relevant legislation to administer General Law and Torrens Title land ownership in Tasmania.

Hours per fortnight 73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Duties The purpose of the position is to assist the Recorder of Titles by interpreting and applying relevant legislation to administer General Law and Torrens Title land ownership in Tasmania.
The position provides advice and legal guidance to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including staff, clients, professional groups, Ministers and senior government officials.
Admitted, or qualified for and entitled to be admitted, as a barrister or practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania under the provisions of the Legal Profession Act 2007.
