Principal Security and Facilities Officer The primary purpose of this role is to manage physical and personnel security across multiple sites. The Security Manager also manages the operations of security services delivered by an external provider, along with an ongoing focus on the timely and customer-focused delivery of a range of projects relating to physical and personnel security, facilities and fleet management, and emergency management.

Demonstrated experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality customer-focused services. Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of security services across multiple sites, including the use of outsourced security providers. Demonstrated ability to identify and manage approved business continuity management principles or frameworks. Demonstrated experience in ethical decision-making in complex and ambiguous circumstances. Exposure to the Commonwealth Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) or similar is considered advantageous. Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience of effective stakeholder management, negotiation, and influence. Demonstrated experience in proactively managing risk, especially in the context of security, facilities, or fleet management.
