This role will see you enhance the capabilities and reputation of WSP's Victorian Bridges, Aviation and Roads (BAR) team via your leadership and OpenRoads skills. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.At WSP you'll find the scale and reach you need to do the kind of work the world needs – and the culture and people that make it the best work of your life.Our BAR team leverages a collaborative approach, the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management phases to deliver sustainable connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.What you'll do:Lead Road and Civil design teams on the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects.Set up, manage and implement design workflows in OpenRoads.Develop detailed designs using OpenRoads for Roads and Civil projects.Train, mentor, and guide our technologists and engineers in road and civil design using OpenRoads.Act as a technical advisor to WSP Australia Clients for any OpenRoads matters.Develop and implement continuous improvements to processes and workflows for efficient delivery.Explore and develop automation in design processes.About YouYou are currently leading and driving development of OpenRoads, or you have advanced OpenRoads skills and are looking to step into the development space.You have demonstrated advanced skills in OpenRoads, including a background in mentoring team members and sharing your expertise.You have excellent communications skills and significant knowledge and experience working with AustRoads Guides and relevant State Supplements.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, or similar qualification.Experience as a Lead Road/Civil Design Engineer or Designer on major transport infrastructure projects, preferably within Victoria.Highly experienced in the setup, management, and use of Bentley OpenRoads for civil, roads, or rail design and modelling.Skills in programming and automation in related platforms is highly desirable.Demonstrated high level of competence in the development of concept, functional, and detailed design for civil and roads.Experience in working in an ISO19650 compliant ProjectWise Environment for the management of design models.About WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
