About the Role Can you contribute to the economic regulation of rail transport infrastructure? The Regulation team are looking for a passionate Principal Research Officer, interested in making access to railways work in the best interests of railway owners and users, and to the benefit of the WA economy.
A Principal Research Officer works with technical/analytical project teams to craft research and analysis into themes, using technical, evidence-based arguments, and ensuring that project deliverables convey accurate, cohesive messaging tailored for the intended audience.
In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for formulating recommendations and producing comprehensive high level written reports for management, executives and the ERA's Governing Body on emerging strategic matters, along with presenting technical, evidence-based arguments to industry and government stakeholders.
The ideal applicant will have extensive knowledge and experience in the rail sector and will demonstrate strong research and data analysis skills, well developed report writing ability, and influential presentation skills.
