Working at CQUniversityThe Coastal Marine Ecosystems Research Centre (CMERC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Research Fellow in Coastal Restoration to join our research team. This position presents a unique opportunity to lead groundbreaking work in seagrass and coastal ecosystem restoration within one of the world's most iconic marine environments – the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting independent research within your discipline, producing papers and publications, and supervising staff. You will lead and manage large research projects, oversee the work of support researchers, and promote research collaborations with external organisations. You will also prepare research proposals, manage research grant finances, and participate in professional activities such as conferences.
