Retail Technology is responsible for the world-leading technology across every aspect of CommBank and Bankwest Retail. From innovative product platforms built on AWS using GenAI, to essential tools within our business. We use technology to help our Engineers do their best work to support our customer facing teams to deliver class leading products, experiences, and service.
As Principal Quality Engineering, you'll define technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment to tech strategy, reference architecture, enterprise data standards, application simplification and modernisation agendas. You'll translate business strategy into technical strategy, helping business leaders understand technology concerns by working at the forefront of all technology decisions and ensure performance and availability of technology.
You'll be the expert in the tech landscape with a clear vision on trends and capabilities to create competitive advantage; ensure IT risks, technical debt and the associated impacts are understood.
We're interested in hearing from people who Define Quality Engineering Strategy for Retail in alignment with the Technology Practise to include large scale test harnesses, frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality.Define Quality Engineering Implementation and Execution Approach for and in collaboration with Retail Crews and Squads.Establish crew-level strategy for large scale test harnesses, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality.Identify and champion process and practice changes to improve product quality.Create patterns for well-engineered, scalable and reliable tests, setting a solid example for other engineers.Lead the build and integration of solutions to provide test data.Lead the automation of real time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring.Lead the implementation of standardised metrics and reporting to provide testing and quality insights.Actively cultivate engagement and learning culture through contributions such as guild presentations.Provide coaching and expertise in quality engineering across the crew.Tech Skills
