We are looking for a Principal Quality Assurance and Quality Control professional to join our clients team as the representative witnessing all Factory Acceptance Testing, ensuring that all materials and equipment are to project standards.
Candidates would ideally come from construction style roles and have a current working knowledge of best industry practices on mine sites.
Key Responsibilities Directing quality control and sign-off activities.
Positively influencing the Quality achievement culture across the project.
Liaise with the Supplier regarding any quality matters, including the identification and resolution of non-conformances.
Offering advice and expertise in the development and implementation of Quality systems and initiatives on site.
Reviews completed ITRs and test documentation throughout the FAT phases ITR's C1, C2, C3, Co-ordinates vendors to attend the site to support commissioning activities as per schedule requirements Identify risks and opportunities, and implement tools and processes to drive efficiencies for the project team Manage MDR's from collation through to review and Approval.
Reviews and signs off all CTP's at each stage once the item is completed Provide technical expertise and mentorship to site teams Ensures relevant discipline documentation and drawings are maintained and back drafted as per the SDRL and CDMS Participating in the FAT punch list walk down, noting all defects in a report Manage supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
Completion of project quality audits.
Coordinate the collation, review and approval of project quality deliverables.
Managing relationships with Customers, Subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience W.A A Grade Electrical license or Tertiary qualifications as a minimum Extensive relative Construction and commissioning experience Extensive experience in QA/QA inspection and punch listing Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
Able to look ahead across the entire works program to optimize delivery Ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence Be commercially astute with a "solutions mindset", skilled in the management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations and codes of practice associated with HS&E, construction, inspection, testing and commissioning.
