Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal QTMP Operations Adviser to join our Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP).
Based in Brisbane CBD, this leadership role will drive the successful implementation and operation of the QTMP fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations while overseeing the safe integration of the fleet into Queensland Rail services.

Benefits that Count: Fixed term position until 2032 based in Brisbane CBD.Competitive salary range of $146,000 - $156,000, plus up to 12.75% superannuation.Flexible working options to support your work-life balance.Ongoing development and career growth opportunities.Travel on paid work time including expenses.Generous super and training programs.Enjoy free travel to work and discounted rail travel.Holistic health and wellbeing programs.Key Responsibilities: Lead testing and deployment operations for the safe integration of the QTMP fleet into Queensland Rail services.Foster and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure smooth operational interfaces.Manage relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.Liaise with our Contractor and QR business to gain access to the QR network and the issuing of associated documentation and approvals for testing of the QTMP fleet.Responsible for the deployment of the QTMP fleet into revenue service.Oversee the continuous improvement of QTMP fleet management processes, documentation, and supporting materials.Provide expert guidance and leadership to ensure QTMP fleet integration and operations meet Queensland Rail's safety and regulatory standards.What You Will Bring: Leadership: Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance and operational success.Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the SEQ Rail Network, Train Operations, and Safeworking.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders.Problem Solving: Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex issues and drive results.Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to ensure compliance at all times.Commitment: A strong commitment to Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours, ensuring a culture of safety, respect, and inclusivity.Why Join Queensland Rail?
