Join our team as the Principal Public Trust Officer, leading a dedicated unit within the Customer Experience and Delivery (CED) Program of the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT).
You'll manage a team, oversee complex estates, and provide expert guidance on financial administration, trust matters, and estate planning.
Your leadership will ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery, while your mentorship will help develop our staff.

About The Role
At the heart of Queensland Public Trustee's (QPT) Customer Experience and Delivery (CED) portfolio lies a commitment to delivering trusted, financial decision-making advocacy, education, and services that empower Queenslanders to navigate crucial life events.
As a Principal Public Trust Officer, you'll be an integral part of the CED Program, managing a work unit within QPT's core business ensuring the successful performance and key activities of your team to achieve our organisational goals.
You will be responsible for the management of complex and sensitive estates, acting as a financial administrator, trustee, or executor.
Your expertise will be crucial in providing high-quality advice and support to management, customers, and staff. You will review documents, oversee file management, and handle complex cases, ensuring that even the most challenging enquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively.
You will lead a team of dedicated customer service professionals.
This is a temporary full-time opportunity until 13 June 2025 based in Cairns. Please download the role description for more information.
