The Principal Project Officer: Primary (The Arts) provides schools with advice, resources and professional learning to support the implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum: The Arts, particularly in a primary school context.

In the Principal Project Officer: Primary (The Arts) role, you will:Lead, manage and contribute to assigned curriculum and assessment projects within timelines, using allocated resources and involving officers across QCAA and external participants.Lead and participate in project teams to develop policy advice, resources and professional learning that is informed by research and data.Plan and develop resources, and present professional development for teachers and key stakeholders to support the implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum: The Arts.Provide expert advice to Managers and the Director on issues related to P-10 Australian Curriculum: The Arts, particularly in a primary school context.Prepare briefings, correspondence and reports and other high-level correspondence.Liaise with government and non-government educational agencies on assigned projects.Develop and maintain professional relations between QCAA and key stakeholders.Participate in forums, workshops and discussion groups in relation to the work of the QCAA.What we are looking forThe QCAA is committed to selecting the person best suited to the role and to furthering equity and diversity.
