The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Principal Project Officer, Kindergarten to join the K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch. The K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch is responsible for the support of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), and the development of support resources and delivery of professional learning for the P-10 Australian Curriculum including the learning areas, cross-curriculum priorities, and general capabilities.
In the Principal Project Officer, Kindergarten role, you will:
lead or participate in project teams to develop advice, resources (including assessment examples), and professional development materials to support implementation of the QKLG;work collaboratively, using research and stakeholder consultation to plan, develop policy advice and resources that is informed by research and data;work collaboratively to develop and deliver professional learning across services in a range of contexts, with a range of stakeholders;lead and manage projects within timelines, using allocated resources and involving officers across the office of the Authority and external participants;provide expert advice to the Manager and the Director on issues related to the early years of education, policy initiatives and transition to school;create and maintain professional relationships between QCAA and key stakeholders;prepare briefings, correspondence and reports and other high-level correspondence;participate in forums, workshops and discussion groups in relation to the work of the QCAA.Reporting relationships This role reports to the Manager, Kindergarten, the K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch. No roles report directly to this role.
