More broadly, the Science Development & Office of the Queensland Chief Scientist (SD-OQCS) branch provides the strategic leadership for the Queensland Government's investment in science research, capability and infrastructure.
As a team, we play an important part in the development of strategic science policies, planning for future science investment, building international science partnerships, managing grant funding programs, and the monitoring and evaluation of the investment in science and its impacts.
The Principal Project Officer is an important role that will contribute directly to the programs and projects that support and promote Queensland science.
This includes:
Developing and delivering initiatives and strategies that maximise the value from the Queensland Government's International science relationships.Contributing to online projects that improve the Queensland Science web presence.Enhancing the interaction between leading Queensland researchers and their local, national, and international counterparts.Supporting a range of key programs and initiatives undertaken by the team.Why work with us?
