For the future of Queensland and the world #DAFcareers We are looking for a Principal Project Officer to join our high performing team at Biosecurity Queensland to: Be part of a team of data management specialists who will implement enhanced data collection, management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and reporting capabilities which support invasive species management in Queensland.
Work with operational, technical, policy, and data management specialists within Biosecurity Queensland and the broader Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to develop a clear plan for information management system improvements, including enhanced GIS capability.
Manage delivery of a work program and ensure assigned tasks meet the project timelines.
Effectively negotiate the completion of key activities within your team and with other business areas to ensure project success.
