About the role:
As Principal Program Manager, you will lead a team of six to ten skilled project managers, focusing on business, development, built form, and active recreation projects.
Your team is diverse in professional backgrounds and will look to you for leadership and expertise in property economics, development, and built form delivery.
In this role you will: Provide managers with a high level of financial, technical, administrative policy and process advice.
Manage key internal and external stakeholders.
Administer contracts and ensure project costs are managed within approved budgets.
Operate as a senior specialist in project and development management.
Provide presentations, workshops, and reports to stakeholders.
Manage, assess, and review the standards of work and deliverables of staff, project consultants, and contractors.
Required Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a proven strategic thinker with the ability to adapt and grow the Project Services business, effectively balancing traditional and agile methodologies, and successfully lead a team of Principal Project Managers.
To be successful in this role you will: Have 10+ years managing complex development projects on behalf of the owner/client.
Possess a bachelor's degree in business, construction management, architecture, or engineering, or other relevant discipline.
Highly desired is the possession of a Master of Project Management or Master of Business Administration (majoring in project management) postgraduate qualification.
Possess a QBCC license as a Builder - Project Management Services (or equivalent), or have the ability to obtain this licensure within 12 months.
Be skilled in maintaining strong client relationships.
Have experience conducting economic and financial analysis for business case profitability.
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Have expertise in project management, including scope, budget, quality, and time control.
Have strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
