Job description About the Role Lead OR Principal Process Engineer
You will be responsible for supporting one of the major Energy projects and will supervise and check Process Design Deliverables and activities.
Key Responsibilities Set objectives, support and mentor the Process Engineers under your direction, providing appropriate recognition and feedback. Work collaboratively within the Project team and the customer to ensure Project objectives are met and customer expectations are realised. Ensure Process Engineering services and deliverables meet the standards as well as applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure Process Engineering services and deliverables are provided within agreed project schedule and budget. Participate in relevant meetings, provide progress updates and drive quality within the Process team. Understand the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes. Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering. Key Criteria A recognised degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. Preferred Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking Chartered Engineer accreditation. Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work. A thorough knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and a good understanding of requirements of other engineering fields. Proven track record successfully delivering complicated and/or fast track projects. Competent use of process engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite. Extensive Process Engineering experience in hydrocarbon, chemicals or similar industry - refinery and/or tank farm experience is desirable.
