Seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join our Brisbane based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process plant design, as well as demonstrated success in the delivery of studies and projects. Reporting to the Process Department Manager, you will be working in a highly experienced team and will be exposed to a continuous succession of small to large domestic projects as they progress through the project lifestyle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and commissioning to operations.
Duties:Lead the process engineering deliverables for preliminary and detailed design studies and projectsSupport the engineering team in delivery of projects and studiesSupport the professional development of the process engineering teamProvide input and support for business development processesEstablish and maintain strong client relationshipsTechnical ownership of discipline deliverables for the scope, including ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, codes, specifications and industry standards and designsKey criteria:Degree Qualified15 + years' experience in mineral processing and commissioningExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programsCompetency in creating mass and energy balances using Metsim, SysCAD or similarExceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlinesPreference will be given to candidates with:
Broad experience in gold process design and base metal hydrometallurgyHave the requisite experience and professional affiliation to be a Competent Person in accordance with JORC 2012 and / or Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of working collaboratively in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teamsA desire to progress their career to the next level of managementHere at DRA, we offer:
