Transmission network planning and operationsPower transmission and distributionNational Electricity Market (NEM) and WA Wholesale Energy Market, including generator connection processes, performance standards and R1 R2 testing procedures and commissioningProficiency in PSSE and/or PSCAD and/or DIgSILENT, PowerFactoryTechnical, commercial and financial considerations of engineering consultancyThe power development lifecycleConventional and renewable energy generation and battery storage systems, including experience with both physical and modelling for power plantsPossess strong communication skills, coupled by an approachable work style to support a positive and balanced mentoring relationship with less experienced EngineersPrincipal and Senior Electrical Engineers with demonstrated experience in:
Providing specialist/technical leadership in concept design, specification, manufacturing, installation, testing and technical due diligence in one or more of the following fields:Power transmission and distributionHVDC power transmissionRenewable energy projectsProtection systems for transmission networksMicro grid and off-grid electricity networks including distributed generation "Hybrid" electricity networksFlexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS)Strong understanding of Power System Studies and Power SystemsBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical EngineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentExperience with project management and delivery of successful outcomesHold or have the ability to attain local Professional Registrations/ CertificationFull working rights for country of residenceAmplitude aims to build long-term relationships with clients by selecting experienced team members who can deliver high-quality consulting outcomes.
