As we continue to build our teams into an anticipated successful growth period for 2025, we are seeking experienced Engineers to join our existing Global Support Head Office in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
We also have offices in Darwin, Hobart, Singapore and Wellington with remote work options or opportunities for the right candidate.

Transmission network planning and operations Power transmission and distribution National Electricity Market (NEM) and WA Wholesale Energy Market, including generator connection processes, performance standards and R1 R2 testing procedures and commissioning Proficiency in PSSE and/or PSCAD and/or DIgSILENT, PowerFactory Technical, commercial and financial considerations of engineering consultancy The power development lifecycle Conventional and renewable energy generation and battery storage systems, including experience with both physical and modelling for power plants Possess strong communication skills, coupled by an approachable work style to support a positive and balanced mentoring relationship with less experienced Engineers Principal and Senior Electrical Engineers with demonstrated experience in:
Providing specialist/technical leadership in concept design, specification, manufacturing, installation, testing and technical due diligence in one or more of the following fields: Power transmission and distribution HVDC power transmission Renewable energy projects Protection systems for transmission networks Micro grid and off-grid electricity networks including distributed generation "Hybrid" electricity networks Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) Strong understanding of Power System Studies and Power Systems Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Experience with project management and delivery of successful outcomes Hold or have the ability to attain local Professional Registrations/ Certification Full working rights for country of residence Amplitude aims to build long-term relationships with clients by selecting experienced team members who can deliver high-quality consulting outcomes.
