Here at the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) we have an opportunity for an experienced Principal Policy Officer to join the Legal, Policy and Compliance Division.

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry.

Our opportunity As a Principal Policy Officer, you will use your initiative and experience to provide sound independent and authoritative strategic policy advice and recommendations to the VGCCC, on a range of complex policy issues including policy frameworks and gaps in regulation of the gambling industry in Victoria.
Who we are looking for To be successful in this position you will have:
A proven track record in leading a policy team in the provision of expert advice on complex policy positions within a complex regulatory environment.Experience in developing and/or implementing policy frameworks for regulating in a complex environment.An appropriate tertiary qualification in the fields of law, public policy or other relevant discipline.Significant regulatory policy experience in developing frameworks for industry is an advantage.What we can offer We value our employees and strive to build a work environment that allows our people to achieve their full potential.
