What You'll DoDue to the continued growth of our national Water Business Group, our Asset Management and Planning team is seeking experienced Planning Engineers to take a senior role in our national sewer network model calibration program. We are currently accepting expressions of interest from Senior Planning Engineers, Associate Planning Engineers and Principal Planning Engineers who are based out of Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Sydney or Melbourne.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Implementing WSP's national sewer network calibration program and guiding an experienced modelling team.Conducting technical assessments of sewerage networks to address drivers such as network performance improvement, growth, compliance, and renewals.Undertaking strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations, detailed planning projects, and preparing business cases.Supporting our asset management and strategy development functions.Working with key clients across Australia.About YouJoining our team at the Senior to Principal level, depending on experience, you will have:
Proven local experience in water engineering, with previous consultancy experience highly desirable.Recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or equivalent; Chartered status CPENG is an advantage.Experience leading efficient and effective engineering consultancy services for public and private sector clients, including client-focused proposals.Proficiency in planning sewerage networks, understanding their operation, and identifying risks.Expertise in hydraulic principles, including hydraulic modelling and sewer network model calibration.Skills in processing large data sets, including meteorological and SCADA data.Proficiency in using GIS, Excel, and other analytics tools to assess data.Knowledge of decision support methodologies such as MCA, risk assessments, opportunities and constraints, costs and benefits, etc.Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.Competence in preparing technical reports and supporting information.Experience managing risk on large projects.Knowledge of project management, including managing the scope of multiple projects and leading resources.About WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
