The educational program for preschool to Year 2 brings together expert knowledge about early childhood education implementing local and national curriculum frameworks.Narrabundah Early Childhood School is committed to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Koori preschool provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 3 to 5 years with a play-based, culturally safe learning program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the
Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011
is required.
