As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelinesPerforming pipe stress analysisDeveloping and supporting FEED and Design studies including detailed design calculationsDeveloping and supporting the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheetsParticipating and supporting in Risk assessment & SMS workshopsPreparing and supporting cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packagesWriting technical reports as required.We are AgileThis allows us to be light on our feet and progressive as we don't get bogged down in bureaucracy.
We get that the 9-5 isn't for everyone, and we're open to hear what works for you.As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be capable of supervising a passionate team of engineers and designers to produce engineering deliverables to Verbrec's and clients' standards.
As such you will be required to demonstrate the following on an ongoing basis:Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelinesIn-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes related to the pipeline industryCPEngAbility to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervisionA degree in Mechanical Engineering.Ability to manage your time and work independentlyWe are growingAt Verbrec, we empower change and create opportunities for you to develop a supercharged career pathway, whether it is technical or focused on people.
