About the School Thuringowa State High School opened in 1987, and celebrates 32 years of academic excellence, sporting and cultural achievement and a vibrant community spirit in 2019.

About the Role You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks: Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.

Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.

Understand the legislation and policies that impact schooling.
Manage resources to achieve goals.
