An exciting, permanent full-time opportunity has become available for a Principal of Kuraby State School. It would be for the start of the 2025 school year. As the Principal of Kuraby State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools.
The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

About Kuraby State School At Kuraby State School, we are proud of our focus on academic excellence, first-class facilities, caring environment, and our highly professional and supportive staff. The school has wonderful facilities, including a modern administration/conference building, a large multi-purpose hall, community meeting room, whole class music room, expansive ovals for major sports, tennis/basketball court, adventure playgrounds, and air-conditioned classrooms.
Kuraby State School was opened in 1928 and is situated within bushland surrounds. The school has beautifully landscaped grounds and well-maintained sporting facilities.
About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
