Women's and Children's Health Network, Corporate Governance and Policy, North Adelaide (5006)Salary Classification - ASO7 - Administrative Services Officer L7 - $106,512 to $115,137 Part Time (0.4) - Term Contract (Temporary up to 18 Dec 2024) About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Governance and Policy / Internal Audit team as a Principal Legislative and Policy Compliance Officer, where you will be responsible for: Develop, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate the legislative and policy compliance program.Ensure that systems support organizational compliance with legislation and SA Health Directives.Support owners and key stakeholders in applying legislative and policy requirements to work processes.Assist in identifying and mitigating risks.Provide expert advice to Executive members, Divisional Directors, and key stakeholders on legislation and policy requirements.Contribute to the development of the Women's and Children's Health Network procedures.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to interpret the meaning of legislation/policy to assess implications within a healthcare setting.Effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.Effective analytical and conceptual skills, including the capacity to think and act innovatively.Ability to prioritize workload and meet timelines.Demonstrated experience in management and/or leadership roles especially in leading compliance activities.Knowledge of audit/compliance methodology and risk management principles and processes.
