The Catholic Schools Office is seeking a dynamic, Catholic educational leader to take up the role of Foundation Principal of this new K-6 Primary School, which is due to commence operation in 2026. The appointment of a Foundation Principal will begin in January 2025. If you are a practising Catholic, a visionary leader with a strong commitment to Catholic education and the capacity to build a vibrant Catholic school community, you are encouraged to apply for this exciting role.
Applicants will have significant experience in school leadership with proven ability to lead a high performing/successful Primary School. The successful applicant will be a person who has the capacity to inspire, motivate and build a professional staff team, whilst balancing a dual agenda of innovation and continuous improvement.
Working with a parish and community to build and animate a new learning centre incorporating flexible and agile learning spaces  Contemporary and innovative approaches to pedagogy The applicant should have at least ten years teaching experience and must have had experience in formal leadership positions across more than one school setting. The applicant should be able to provide evidence of significant and recent research based professional learning and how they demonstrate their approach to disseminating such knowledge to their leadership team and staff.  Participating in the evangelising mission of the Catholic Church  Evidence-based decision-making about learning and achievement  Overseeing a curriculum that is responsive to the diverse needs of students  Regular communication with and feedback to parents and students  Work in quality schools where students are nurtured, challenged and encouraged to excel and grow A corporate fitness program through Fitness Passport Employee assistance program (EAP) Training and staff development programs Paid parental leave for eligible employees Access to long service leave after just five years for eligible employees. Can you provide an example of how you have successfully built a collaborative culture within a school environment? What strategies did you employ to foster teamwork and collaboration, and how did you handle any challenges that arose? Describe the outcomes of your efforts and the impact on the school.
