An exciting opportunity is now available for a Permanent Full-Time Principal Human Resource Advisor to join the Northern Region at Townsville.

In the role of Principal Human Resource Advisor, you will provide expert, business focused human resource management advice, consultancy and support services on a wide range of complex human resource and change management issues to Customer Service Branch Northern Region to enhance business outcomes and support the achievement of corporate goals.
Accountabilities include: Deliver quality, business-focused, and cost-effective human resource services to enhance business outcomes and achieve corporate goals. The role includes: Employee relations Performance management Recruitment and selection Managing grievances and disciplinary matters Rehabilitation Learning and development Advise the Regional Director, Regional Management Team, and HR specialists on key human resource and change management issues affecting business and corporate objectives. Develop, implement, and improve human resource practices and procedures, including: Monitoring HR trends Leading Divisional and Corporate initiatives Recommending proactive strategies Ensuring consistency and sharing best practices across regions and divisions Educate and coach team leaders and managers on effective people management. Support and implement HR initiatives within business units, including: Workforce planning and strategy Capability development Equity and diversity Industrial and employee relations Performance management Code of Conduct Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Present clear, high-quality, and timely correspondence on people management issues. Prepare submissions and represent business units in relevant tribunals, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Participate in Regional Management Team meetings and contribute to the development of the Region's business plan.
