In this position, you'll work closely with Senior Medical Staff to ensure that the Paediatric services provided by Rockhampton Hospital and the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service are of the highest quality, delivered with efficiency and care.
As part of CQHHS, our clinical services operate across multiple sites.
To meet service demands, you may occasionally be required to provide care at other facilities within the network, according to each location's clinical capabilities.

About us: The hospital has a busy Paediatric outpatient's department reviewing a wide variety of paediatric conditions and includes a diabetic clinic.
Outreach clinics are undertaken to towns in the region, including an Aboriginal Community.
It is planned to expand these services.
This position involves working in a wide variety of areas of Paediatrics including General Paediatrics, Outpatients, Neonatology Unit with ventilation capability, Community Paediatrics, Child Protection, and Aboriginal Health.
The position will be required to attend the Outreach Clinics in Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Woorabinda.
Outreach clinics may be expanded to Gladstone and Biloela Hospitals in the future.

About you: Mandatory qualification/s:MBBS or equivalent to be eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) at Level 3 supervision.Where qualifications were obtained outside Australia, the candidate must be eligible for registration with AHPRA (Level 3 Supervision) and provide the following:Evidence of successful completion of IELTS or equivalent English Language test results within the last yearEvidence of successful completion AMC MCQ (part 1) examinationEvidence of recency of clinical practice, supported by current referencesCurrent Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and Neoresus certification.What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $172,382 p.a.
