Temporary full-time opportunity to be responsible for the management of medical inpatients, perform necessary medical procedures, provide consultation services to other Departments and Service Lines in the hospital, and be a part of a Medical Emergency Response Team when rostered to do so.

Always approach patients from a holistic, humanistic, and caring perspective.Supervision and management of allocated inpatients.Provide a consultation-liaison service to other areas of the hospital.Participate in a roster for Medical Emergency Calls across the hospital.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
