The Capricorn Coast Hospital and Health Service is based in Yeppoon, a coastal town in Central Queensland, Australia. Yeppoon is renowned for its beaches, tropical climate, and the islands out on the bay. Twenty-five minutes from the city of Rockhampton, Yeppoon is the principal town on the Capricorn Coast, a string of seaside communities stretching more than 150 kilometres from north to south, in which approximately 25,000 people live.
About the role:
The Principal House Officer (Generalist) provides high quality inpatient and outpatient medical services to the Capricorn Coast Hospital, to ensure 24-hour coverage under the direction of Senior Medical staff. The facility is accredited for ACRRM training, and Principal House Officers (PHO's) will actively supported through training requirements. Opportunities to utilise or gain Advanced Skills are significant across the health service.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).Hold current General Registration with AHPRA. Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a minimum of two (2) years practice within the Australian healthcare system would be preferred. What we offer: Salary information:
