Job Description Reporting to our Financial Controller, we have an excellent opportunity for a Principal - Group Accounting to join our corporate finance team located in Creek Street, Brisbane. You will:
lead a small finance team ensuring accurate and timely completion of the Group's account reconciliations, as well as centralised and corporate month-end close activities.
manage and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, overseeing month end SAP processing.
support site commercial teams with their month end processes as needed, including Lease and Rehabilitation accounting models and associated reviews.
assist with SG&A budget and forecasting processes.
assist with ASX and regulatory reporting requirements, including successful completion of all internal and external audit requirements.
Qualifications To be a success, you will need:
Qualified CIMA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years in financial accounting, ideally in a similar Accounting Manager role.
Proven experience in preparation and review of complex account reconciliations.
Ability to lead a team.
Proficiency in accounting software, ideally SAP S4HANA.
