We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of engineering and consulting to the last stages of installation and commissioning.Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.What you'll doActively promotes and leads a culture of zero harm and safety focus within the Worley business.Demonstrates highly effective people management and leadership skills and embraces teamwork as the key to our delivery success.Deliver effective team communication, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills to contribute to the building, motivation and development of an engaging team, maximizing technical excellence.Catalyse the growth of our Tailings business through leading and supporting the team in opportunities, provide technical stewardship and mentorship to fellow team members in tailings.Contribute to and support the development and implementation of our Tailings strategy and tactics framework.Participate actively and effectively in business development initiatives (including identifying target opportunities/clients, client engagement and leading/managing proposal preparation, compilation and delivery).Support the conversion of opportunities from proposals into projects and work with and collaborate with other parts of the Worley business to support future opportunities.Grow the technical capability (depth and breadth) of the Tailings business and broaden the offering across the Worley business, both locally and globally.Oversee and provide project management support to assist with project delivery, and ensure that team members follow corporate safety, quality, business development, engineering procedures and processes as part of project delivery.Work across the following elements of a tailings project life cycle, supported by our SMEs:Strategy, optioneering and concept design.Site investigation requirements.Analysis and modelling (supported by our SMEs).Design including liners, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), dam break assessments, embankment and foundation stability, construction specifications, cost estimation, emergency response plans.Construction support.Instrumentation.Life of Mine studies.CDA, ANCOLD and GISTM safety audits.Engineer of Record duties.Closure.Contribute to and assist in the preparation of proposal/project budgets.Identify and subsequently implement remedial measures to improve project performance when required.Establish and maintain good relationships with selected Contractors, Clients and other Worley Consulting/Worley personnel.What you'll havePost-graduate tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and a preference for recent publication history.Registration with appropriate professional institutions.Highly effective project management skills including the ability to plan, set goals, manage time, set priorities, allocate and manage resources, accountabilities and budget.Impactful business development skills including the ability to develop new client relationships, manage/support existing client relationships and win work for our tailings business.Demonstrated history of effective client engagement, relationships and management.Strong doer-seller mentality and approach.Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Experience in preparing proposals and technical report writing in discipline.The ability to travel locally and internationally to project sites, as required.Why you should applyFlexible work arrangements.Take advantage of our global online learning platform!Competitive remuneration & employee benefits.Enjoy a varied & challenging role.Career development opportunities beyond this role.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
