While we support remote work, we also value face-to-face interactions, whiteboard discussions, and sharing a meal together.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer, who is responsible for analyzing and interpreting high-quality offshore geo-data to provide accurate and customized advice to clients on their individual project needs.Your day-to-day duties and focus will include:Perform technical duties related to geotechnical engineeringTake on the role of Project Manager for Marine GeoConsulting ProjectsPrepare and review technical reports and proposals in a timely, organized and accurate mannerLead technical teams in projects, delegate tasks, guide team members, and review calculations and reports for accuracyServe as the primary liaison between the project team and the client, handling communications on technical mattersHelp develop project opportunities and identify marketsWrite and publish papers, participate in technical development in designated areas and competenciesMentor and support less experienced team membersAbout YouYour success in securing this role will require:Extensive experience (ideally, 8-10 years') as a consulting Geotechnical Engineer within the offshore industryBachelors, Masters, or PhD in geotechnical or civil engineering, engineering geology or a related disciplineBe creative and willing to consider new approaches to solving problemsGood communication skills and ability to perform within interdisciplinary project teamsOur ValuesWe strive to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves; all voices heard, all cultures respected.
