Located in the Gungahlin network, Franklin School is a P-6 school with approximately 545 students. The school vision is to create confident and involved learners, who have a strong sense of identity and wellbeing. Programs and groups for students and families are run in the designated community room, including playgroup, wellbeing groups for students, Circle of Security Parenting Program, Tuning into Kids Parenting Program and community get-togethers. With a strong focus on wellbeing for both students and families, the school partners with organisations to provide relevant programs and services. Partnership organisations help needs such as targeted literacy support and wellbeing programs for students. Partner organisations include Libraries ACT, ACT Playgroup and Story Dogs ACT.
