About this role
You'll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.
This role is part of the Financial Performance & Reporting team that supports local health districts, specialty health networks and shared service providers deliver the health system's strategic financial goals of financial sustainability, accurate forecasting and strong governance.
You will undertake complex investigations, benchmark and analyse financial and performance data and provide expert advice to the executive and other key stakeholders.
You will draw on your extensive experience to coach and mentor team members to improve their analysis, reporting and presentation skills.

Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $139,787- $161,663 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing Establish systems and processes to enhance financial reporting and monitoring of health entities' performance. Provide expert advice, analysis and benchmarking of health entity financial, activity and FTE performance and prepare PowerPoint presentations for executive forums. Undertake analysis and prepare reports on shared service charging practices and trends including price-volume and variance analysis. Prepare briefs with funding recommendations (and associated correspondence) underpinned by calculations/analysis. Schedule meetings, organise agendas, prepare minutes, follow up action items. About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
The ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The ability to undertake critical analysis, design innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ability to prioritise and work in a small dynamic team environment. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant financial, business or economics related discipline. Knowledge of NSW Health budgeting, activity-based funding and experience in a local health district (desirable). How to apply
