The Principal Financial Accountant provides advice and expertise in relation to financial accounting issues, including the preparation of consolidated statutory reports and review of financial policies and procedures, to meet statutory and reporting requirements.

What you'll be doing Provide specialist technical advice and support on financial accounting matters, accounting policies and procedures and statutory reporting.Prepare statutory financial statements and relevant mandatory returns.Collaborate with stakeholders (including more than 30 health entities) on changes in accounting policies, practices and accounting standards.Manage the external audit process with Audit office of NSW. Demonstrated experience in financial reporting in either a commercial environment and/or the public sector.Relevant tertiary and professional qualification, including CA/CPA qualification with current professional membership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated skills and experience in building strong, collaborative partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
