As the Principal Finance Advisor (Financial Governance) you will be part of a team of passionate professionals working in partnership with a range of clients and business areas across the organisation.

You will lead the successful delivery of the department's annual financial internal control report to support TMR's CFO Assurance, coordinate annual risk assessments, ensure employees maintain compliance with all financial policies and training requirements, undertake research and provide advice on complex matters, proposals, submissions, and other materials. You will also lead a small team, guiding to increase team capability and effective performance and development discussions.

About the RoleIn the AO7 PFA (Financial Governance) role, you will:
Lead a small, high-performing corporate Financial Governance team through effective planning, task allocation, and monitoring.Lead the department's annual financial internal control report (FICR) to support TMR's CFO Assurance Certification process.Coordinate risk assessments and maintain TMR's Financial Management Practice Manual (FMPM) and other key policies.Provide high-quality, accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders, including writing and reviewing complex reports and submissions.Skills & ExperienceThe AO7 PFA (Financial Governance) role requires you to have:
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and processes related to financial internal controls and relevant legislation.Experience in planning and delivering annual CFO Assurance Statements and Financial Internal Controls Reports.Excellent communication skills to provide accurate advice to employees and key contacts.Experience in leading a high-performing finance or taxation team, including task allocation and performance management.How to applyIf you are interested in this position, please provide the following through SmartJobs:
