They provide fully integrated environmental and social assessment and management services.
About the Role
Umwelt's Melbourne team is seeking a Principal Environmental Planner or Scientist to lead and manage environmental impact assessments and planning projects for major infrastructure in the energy sector, focusing on complex environmental assessments and approval processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Scope, plan, manage, and execute environmental assessment and management projects
Team Empowerment: Lead and mentor project teams
Project Management: Effectively manage project budgets and timelines
Quality Assurance: Focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships

About You
Qualifications in environmental science, planning, or related degree discipline, 10+ years of experience in environmental impact assessment or planning, strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, and excellent client relationship management abilities are required.
