ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Principal Environmental Consultant in Contaminated Lands, you will lead site assessment and remediation projects.
Responsibilities include managing teams, developing client relationships, ensuring project quality, and mentoring junior staff.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential for delivering effective solutions that uphold this consultancy's commitment to technical excellence.
DUTIES. Lead and manage complex contaminated site assessment and remediation projectsConduct preliminary and detailed site investigations to identify contaminants and assess risksDevelop remediation action plans and evaluate options for contaminated sitesOversee and implement remediation techniques performed by junior consultantsDevelop and maintain relationships with existing clientele and deliver on client needsPrepare project tenders and cost estimatesLead the broader team to ensure budgets and timelines are metTrain, mentor, and guide junior Environmental Engineers/ConsultantsSKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Degree in Environmental Engineering or ScienceExtensive local experience in contaminated land projectsProven experience in managing and leading a teamExcellent communication and client relationship abilitiesCULTURE.
