THE ROLE
You will work under the limited direction of ECS Directors and Senior Managers to:
Lead and contribute to complex environmental assessments, regulatory approvals and technical reports
Utilise your technical background to deliver high quality work in a broad range of areas including environmental approvals, compliance assurance, environmental monitoring and reporting
Coordinate technical environmental assessments, author documents, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes
Conduct site audits, inspections and environmental monitoring
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously - managing scope, timelines, resources and budget
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and clients
Scope and develop proposals for key clients
Mentor and manage team members, fostering growth and professional development
Lead by example to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence

REQUIREMENTS
A tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
Demonstrated experience successfully managing environmental projects or environmental professionals
Advanced report writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
Able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Australian state and federal environmental legislation
15+ years' experience in an environmental role, industry, or government department
Knowledge and understanding of the Australian marine and terrestrial environment
Demonstrated understanding and experience working within the NOPSEMA regulatory framework
