Salary: Starting from $241,956 + 14.75% super (10 day fortnight)

Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice to develop strategic network plans that efficiently integrate renewable energy sources to meet renewable energy targets and maximise customer and stakeholder benefit. Execute holistic planning principles to provide recommendations on the optimised integrated network and renewable energy development plan. Lead complex cross-divisional initiatives and technical activities to develop an integrated strategic network and renewable energy plan. Maintain technical understanding of power systems performance and modelling, network planning, regulatory frameworks, energy markets, connection processes, and network asset risks. Develop and maintain a recognised industry standing to influence and advocate for Powerlink's business objectives. Provide technical leadership and inspiration to attract, build and develop talented internal capabilities through training, coaching, and mentoring. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives. Your Expertise: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required combined with significant industry experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Expert knowledge of power system plant characteristics and the ability to model power system plant and behavior. Expert knowledge in strategic investment planning, energy markets, regulatory investment tests, economic and financial modelling, and regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated ability to work within a highly complex technical environment balancing the competing requirements of multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective and constructive working relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
