About the Role
This initial 12-month role (potential for extension) is key to the success in the study and delivery of various rail projects. The role will be based in Perth with the requirement to travel to the Pilbara on an ad hoc basis.
The role will primarily support the review and approval of signalling designs and other project deliverables.

Support the Project Manager the project works can be carried out safely, as per schedule, within the budget and in line with the quality standards.
Work with stakeholders to develop Scopes of Work that meet stakeholder requirements and deliver best value to the business.
Develop and review project governance documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to enable high quality design solutions to be developed.
Perform technical design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external Standards.
Step-up and safely challenge existing processes to achieve best-practice for all key phases of the projects.
Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer accreditation (or equivalent)
Tertiary degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering - Rail Signalling
Current full Western Australian "C" class motor vehicle license.
Statements of Competency from other network operators and/or ARA (Australasian Railway Association), desirable.
Experience:
10+ Years of experience in Rail Signalling field of expertise Knowledge of rail signaling and communications design.
Strong experience in "whole of rail" rail system delivery.
Strong experience in project delivery and project governance.
