Altra is at the forefront of innovative IoT solutions, delivering cutting-edge technology to enhance industrial operations. Our flagship platform, SensorMine, is a comprehensive IoT solution designed to provide real-time monitoring, analytics, and predictive maintenance capabilities. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Technical Lead to drive the development of SensorMine, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and integration with advanced cloud services.
The Principal Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the development of the SensorMine platform. This role requires a strong technical background in cloud-native application development, IoT, and scalable architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes, Azure services, and modern development practices. This role also demands exceptional leadership skills to guide a team of developers and engineers.
You will lead the development and oversee the end-to-end development of the SensorMine platform (IoT Product), ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. You'll architect and implement solutions: Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Arc, .NET, Dapr, MQTT, and CQRS patterns. Manage the integration of SensorMine with various enterprise systems and IoT devices, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Implement and oversee DevOps and GitOps practices to streamline development, deployment, and operations processes. Utilize Azure Data Explorer for efficient data processing, analysis, and visualization. Develop and apply scalable cloud patterns to ensure the platform can handle growing amounts of data and users. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. Ensure that all development follows best practices for code quality, security, and performance. Provide technical leadership and be a role model to all engineers by providing onboarding support, influencing development plans, mentoring, supporting broader programs as well as educating and encouraging best practice regarding designs and delivery execution processes. Technical Capabilities
Extensive experience in Cloud, IoT, Integration, AI, machine learning, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and .NET, with experience in developing and deploying applications and/or ML on Azure. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives. Demonstrated experience in product development and managing cross-functional teams. Proficiency in scalable cloud architecture pattern, DevOps, and GitOps practices.
